Cascades Giving Day challenges offer many exciting opportunities to CLIMB to new heights! Let’s rally behind UFV Athletics student-athletes and programming to leverage matching funds and make a difference. 

To unlock matching funds, make your donation on November 5th and help create even more opportunities for students.

Cascades Team P2P Rally Challenge (1 match available)
The team with the most peer-to-peer (P2P) donations or the highest number of unique donors from their network (alumni, students, friends, family, etc.) at the end of the campaign will unlock a $1,000 match for their team.

50 for 50 Alumni Challenge (10 matches available)
In celebration of UFV’s 50th anniversary, every alumni donation of $50 or more will receive a $50 match, up to a total of $500. Alumni can designate their gift to a specific team or fund, making an even bigger impact as we celebrate this milestone year.

Family Match Challenge (3 matches available)
When 5 gifts of any size are made from parents or family members to a specific campaign during Cascades Giving Day, we’ll unlock a matching gift of $250 for that campaign. This challenge is designed to highlight the importance of family support in an athletes' journey.

Once 250 total donations are made, a $250 match will be unlocked for the 250th donor of the day.

CLIMB Values Challenge (1 match available)
The team that best embodies the CLIMB values through their fundraising efforts and outreach will unlock an additional $500. Teams are encouraged to share how they are embracing these values while fundraising—whether through storytelling, teamwork, or community engagement. The team that demonstrates the most impactful and value-driven approach will earn the match.
