We CLIMB together

The mission of the UFV Athletics community is to CLIMB. The five CLIMB values are the standards that we uphold every day as Cascades, as student-athletes, and as leaders. We know the values we learn as Cascades will carry forward in the classroom and into our future. CLIMB demands a lot of us, but we always rise to the challenge.

Chase Peak Performance

The Outcome

Chasing peak performance is about doing our absolute best and reaching ambitious goals. This means consistently striving for progress and putting forth peak effort to overcome challenges.

Lead by Example

The Leader

Leading by example is about being a positive influence on others. It means being a proud Cascades representative and culture leader. This is about developing the integrity of our character to earn the trust and respect of others.

Include, Involve & Inspirev

The Teammate

To include, involve and inspire is how we learn to foster a welcoming environment and be a great teammate. Cascades strive to build meaningful connections by celebrating each person's uniqueness and ensuring everyone feels valued.

Make Progress, Make a Difference

The Work Ethic

Making progress and making a difference requires dedication, perseverance, and hard work. As Cascades, we learn to be resourceful in the face of adversity and remain committed to finding ways forward.

Be All In

The Commitment

Being all in means being wholeheartedly invested in what we’re doing. We commit to taking pride in what we do, developing confidence, and having an unstoppable mindset.
